The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They took care of all our bags from the time you entered into the door. We didn’t have to carry them up the stairs to our rooms even when we were leaving. The location is in the center of all the shops and restaurant.
Great spot for exploring Barcelona
The friendliness of all the staff ... they were very helpful at all times. Loved the 24 hour buffet for drinks & snacks. Room had microwave & fridge. The bed was so comfortable ... we need a mattress like that
I liked absolutely everything. It was my second time staying at Continental Palacete and I will stay nowhere else in Barcelona anymore. Fabulous location, great value for money with current specials, stunning decor and the 24 hour buffet is an absolute bonus, especially in a time like this when restaurants are closed in the evenings. And a HUGE big thank you to the super friendly staff at reception who went out of their way to assist me when my trains out of Barcelona were cancelled due to the storm. Muchas gracias y hasta proxima vez.
The Hotel is in easy walking distance from the centre of Barcelona. Lovely 'old world style' décor which looked sumptuous. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room, although small, was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Lovely soft large towels in modern shower room, changed every day. The bed was comfortable and there was a useful microwave, fridge and safe in each room, all free of charge. The best bit was the 24hour buffet which had a good selection of breads, cakes, cereals, cooked eggs, tomatoes, salad items, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, cold meats and plenty of drink choices. A coffee machine, various teas, cold drinks, juices, red/white wine, San Miguel beer - we all thought it was unique and much appreciated. My Sister and I will be booking a week's holiday there again next June.
"I can't praise this delightful hotel more highly. Everything was perfect the location, the staff, the rooms, the 24 hour buffet. It was comfortable and beautiful. Also the staff recommended a superb Tapas Bar. We will be returning next year, and can't wait to enjoy this magical hotel again.

Guest is the key word, as you are treated like one of the family, with 24 hour access to the hotel's buffet. complete with wine, beer, and assorted foods!
